  1. SMS Text Messaging Communications

If you opt in, Starfish Advance and its authorized representatives will send you SMS text messages related to your funding account. This section describes our SMS program in detail.

Program Description. Messages may include funding confirmation, onboarding check-ins from your assigned account manager, payment reminders, payment-issue follow-ups, account servicing updates, renewal eligibility notifications, and customer service responses.

How You Opt In. You opt in to receive SMS messages by initialing the dedicated SMS consent block in Section 7.11(B) of the Starfish Advance Receivables Purchase Agreement, executed electronically via SignNow at the time of funding. Consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving funding from Starfish Advance.

Message Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your funding lifecycle and account activity, typically ranging from several messages per week in the early days following funding to occasional messages thereafter.

Costs. Message and data rates may apply. These charges are determined by your wireless carrier, not by Starfish Advance.

How You Opt Out. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at help@starfishadvance.com.

No Sharing of Mobile Information. Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in status, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support our messaging operations (such as SmartMCA/Nexus and Twilio) is limited to what is necessary to deliver the Services and is governed by contractual confidentiality obligations.

Carrier Disclaimer. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
